Totally agree on this. I'm currently trying to get together something
on both costs and weight and bulk for the next primer post, but am
having difficulties. Could you check in GURPS Low Tech and see what is
in there - its a module I don't have. Also, I'll take web links - this
part of the documentation is taking a while.

Dunno. Mithril would come down to the material. I'm thinking Dwarven
light mail design, but anything made of mithril gets an added bonus to
EP of some large number. Note that in the book, Frodo was nearly killed
by the spear blow through bruising - its just that it didn't penetrate.
