[HQ Ignorance] Scene 163 : Dragons in the Heartland

Having defeated the chaos gaggle through the unity of light and darkness
Harajallenburg strode with purpose in a westerly direction. The castle
environs now had a new member, with Rune Lord Za Za and his bodyguard
joining the Fellowship with promises of more and greater fights against
chaotic creatures, wherever they may be found.

Turning south-west the castle strode towards Dorastor, Land of Doom, where
King-elect Azur sought to cross Kartolin Pass into Railos, and then
perhaps through the High Llama Pass into Fronela, where the Kingdom of War
could finally be confronted, now that Talor's Weapons had been brought
together. Surely, he offered to Rune Lord Za Za, that much chaos could be
found in this direction!

A walking castle is never a subtle mode of transportation, it is
unsurprising that walking even into the former Lunar Empire that attention
is drawn. It was scant few days that Harajallenburg had made its journey
that it was hailed down by sun-speakers, diplomats of the Kingdom of
Jarst. Whislt the Lunars ran an Empire, where the Empire falls, power
returns to the Kings. People are poorer, trade is less, but power
nevertheless remains.

The Sun-speaker introduced himself as Helios, and he beckoned from the
temple-city of Serene Victory. He indicated that the Fellowship and
Harajallenburg the Walking Castle was known to his people, and that he
hoped that conflict would not follow, for there had been many battles
where the Fellowship had been seen. Helios listed to the Fellowship's
offerings of a peaceful journey through their lands, and how they sought
exit from the old Lunar Heartland into Railos, via Kartolin Pass.

Helios, with his best diplomatic smile, explained that some things have
changed recently that might make this difficult. Since the Amethyst Dragon
of Chaos had swallowed the Red Moon and turned it to the Black Moon, they
had also turned to rebuilding The Great Dragon, as the Empire of Wyrms
Friends had done before, but with the famous consequences. As one religion
falls, another takes its place, as power abhors a vacuum. From what Helios
had heard, a new dragon is being awakened, with the prayers of hundreds of
thousands in the new cult of the Amethyst Dragon.
