Azhur spent much of his evenings on the highest point of view of the walking castle, feeling afflicted by the new landscape offered by the world at night.Maybe the end of times was on them and maybe all fight was useless, but evening after evening the desperate show of burnt villages and destroyed communities were like a warning for him. "There is nothing new, he concluded after a while, we are condemned to death and what happens after is nothing we're sure of. The only certainty is the life we have to conduct and the way we decide to follow is our only choice. To die by fleeing or to die by protecting his community is unimportant choice for self, but not for those who we care. My LadyMarianne of Gilboch, my beloved queen of the Reformed Seshnela, I'm back home and I hope I will bring more solutions than problems, but be sure I'll fight to my last breath to protect our land..."
At the council, Azhur adressed the fellowship, the trollkins and the Orathorni and asked them: "We are about to come back to the lands of West, traditionnaly three ways exist: by the South through the Dragon Pass, but we know that war and winter roams around there, by the North through the Western Reaches of the Lunar Empire but the Empire has changed and the Syndics Ban used to be impassable for non-flying travelers or the last choice is by the Kartolin Pass through the unfamous land of Dorastor, cursed by Arkat and ruled by the mysterious Ralzakark, the Broo King... Time is precious and the shortest way isn't that most obvious. We are all on board the Kalen Harajallenburg and share the same fate. Fear is useful only as a ward against danger, but danger being everywhere we need to concentrate on other values like courage and cleverness. My question is simple: what will be our way, this choice will decide our way in the coming weeks, of course we will need to collect news of this world at flame and keep the possibility to correct our decision as long as we can, but an option needs to be decided  for the sake of our mission."

Having escaped, once again, from the clutches of the Can-Shu Exarch of
Bliss in Ignorance, and also Cwim, progeny of Thed and the Devil, the
Fellowship took Harajallenburg northwards and then west, across the
Endless Yellow Grasslands and past the foothills of the Eleven Big Giant
Mountains. The castle was now a hive of activity, with not only the Black
Sun trollkin but also the Orathorn community and their attendands.

King-elect Azhur looked upon the various people and sighed. "At least
nobody will ever accuse us of not being cosmopolitan". "That is certainly
true", responded the Third Eye of Solar Storm, causing the King-elect to
jump with a start. "Yes", he laughed. "Even with the ghost of part of a
old god!"

Under the guidance of Kalen Harajallenburg travelled across the land at a
leisurely pace into the vast expanses of what was Lunar farmlands and
horse nomads. There was evidence of much devastation across the land.
Several burnt out remains of hamlets were discovered until finally one
small group of travellers were spotted travelling westwards. At first they
were terrified by the Walking Castle, but when hospitality was shown to
them they told their story.

The Red Moon had been devoured by the Black Moon, and without her
protective veil over the land, devastation reigned supreme to all peaceful
folk. There were raiders from the east who devastated settlements during
the day, and the once mighty Lunar Army was nowhere to be seen. At night,
without the red glow in the heavens, trolls of darkness and chaos
monstrosities were abound everywhere. Although these people were hardy
settlers, they were but farmers and it had all become too much for them
when their eldest son was raped and abducted by a band of broo. A return
to their home in the Oraya Sultanate was their only option.

The Fellowship took pity on these refugees and continued on their journey.
What few settlements remained barred their doors and extinguished all
lights at night, huddled in fear at what monsters would appear in the
darkness. Yet among all this, somethig shone in the distance. On the Sky
King Mountains, there were bright sparkling lights, standing out like a
beacon among the dark evenings. The Fellowship took council among
themselves for the next leg of their journey.
