"Fourth, I have got the impression that you have weird prejudices against me." Azhurs answers calmly. "So let be clear: when Creation is facing Oblivion there is not time for petty quarrels even sustained by old resentments and grudges. Experience showed me that small insignifiant creatures have the same value than great characters as anything great is first small and everything dies the same at the end. Logic tells me that in dire times, the addition of all efforts is worth most of all heroic deeds from anyone and I was proposing you as their spokesman as a matter of simplicty and efficiency, but I will talk to them if you think my ability to trollish tongue isn't a too heavy difficulty. Their needs may become a burden if they exceed what we can afford for them and this limit is self-imposing to everyone of us, but we are in the Bliss of Ignorance and they may not be aware of our own needs. In other words, I don't consider them as inferior in any case,
but as ignorant and uneducated, that why I have counting on you to guide those who were volunteering to achieve their best abilities, however I will go and tell them about the situation and our goal, if you wish so. I'm tired about words of suspicion and hate when I see our world fading away..."

 He turns to
Azhur, "Wish ... cooperation from them?  I have heard
those words before.  I do not think that that word means
 what you think it means."

"As for being a spokesman, they can themselves
speak.  Being mute is not part of the Trollkin curse.  Nor
are they children nor small infants, they do not need to be
taken care of.  And why would their needs be
unreasonable.  What limits would you impose on them which
you would not impose on others, and if there are none, why
 even mention it?"

"Perhaps I could suggest a task for you.  Go
and talk to them.  And not as if they are poor or inferior,
 but as
an equal.  You never know, you might just be suprised.  I
 know that Mekdoru* was..."

  Azhur answered to the Fourth
in an awkward trollish tongue but with an unexpected
understanding and knowledge of the trollish customs for an
 human being.
 - "Tell them that we have respected their
ritual needs and that they have used our castle for this.
They are already in debt, but we do not wish domination over
them but cooperation from them... We are in a quest against
Annihilation, if we fail a lot of things that makes life a
good thing will vanish, they may help at their own risks or
leave the castle at once. It is their choice, but every
volunteer we can sustain is welcome. Fourth, would you
accept to become their Spokesman and take care of their
 needs in reasonnable limits?"

 Back to western
  tongue, he added feeling concerned:
 - "I suppose that now
replacing our supplies is our main and most urgent
 task."

  [And... fade to black :)
  ]

  As
  The Fourth girded (or
degirded) his loins, Akihi does as The Fourth
  suggested, and
 returned to the Fellowship with
  the message to wait for
 The

 Fourth's

 return.

  "An
 important

religious ritual", a grinning Akihi explained to the
  perplexed
 Fellowship. "Not one that I,
  alas, can participate in
 anymore",
  he

looked to the ground sadly. "We must wait."

  And so The
 Fellowship waited
... and waited ... and waited. Fortunately it
  was a pleasant
day. Yelm rose, travelled to the
  high point of the sky,
 and
  made its
 descent
  as
 night came.

 Eventually,

a very tired looking trollkin, known as The Fourth,
  returned
  to the group.
 "Ahh, trollkin
say Red Moon gone, Black Moon now in sky, old
  stories all
 wrong. Brother Black Sun now
  Brother Black Moon to bright
 Sun
  Yelm.
 Now
  trollkin
curse no more, and celebration time it is, so
  celebrate
  did
 they."

  "I say
 to trollkin that
castle is ours. Beg they do, to stay. I say to
  trollkin, you
 must earn stay. 'Yes!
  Yes!' they say, and
 begin to clean up
mess in hall. Hall in big mess, my goodness.
  Three score
 trollkin we want,
  yes?"
